Terms and Conditions of Use of ZONE's web site

Please take a few minutes to read and fully understand these Terms and Conditions of Use of "Les concepts Zone Inc." (also mentioned as Zone & Zone maison). Use of the ZONE web site (zonemaison.com) is regulated by these Terms and Conditions and your usage of the web site zonemaison.com constitutes your obligation to respect these Terms and Conditions.

These Terms and Conditions apply to all sales concluded via the internet web site www.zonemaison.com or through "Les concepts Zone Inc." Order Department.

1. Orders

Orders may be placed in the following manner :

2. Product Availability

All orders are processed from our warehouse; in-stock products are normally shipped within 48 hours. Products that are not in stock are either on order from our suppliers or being transferred from another branch. This information will either be communicated to you by e-mail or by telephone before any invoice is forwarded. "Les concepts Zone Inc." cannot be held responsible for any additional delays on our regular shipping time regarding merchandise.

If products are no longer available with our suppliers, our customer with receive notification by e-mail or telephone.

3. Products

Product colours presented on the website are reproduced as accurately as possible. However, because the colours displayed vary from one computer monitor to another, "Les concepts Zone Inc." cannot guarantee that the colours seen on your computer monitor are exactly identical to the actual product colours.

Most of the products on this site are available in all of the ZONE stores.

"Les concepts Zone Inc." reserves the right, without any obligation or advance notice, to discontinue or modify features and prices of the products and services offered on this web site.

4. Modification or cancellation of your order

You may cancel your order at any time before it has been processed by calling toll free 1-877-845-3532 or by e-mailing internet@zonemaison.com. However, once the order has been shipped, it is impossible to cancel it. Please refer to the "Returns" section on this page for return procedures.

Upon receipt, please check the contents of your order to detect any damage that may have occurred during shipping. Carefully examine the packaging as well as the package contents.

It is normal to see usual wear on the outside packaging, but if the contents are damaged, accept the package, note the damage on the delivery stub, and sign and date it. The delivery person should also sign the delivery stub and leave you a copy for your records. Immediately notify Customer Service toll free at 1-877-845-3532 or send an e-mail to internet@zonemaison.com.

5. Pricing

Prices displayed on "Les concepts Zone Inc." web site are in Canadian dollars, before taxes, assembly and duty fees are applied. Amounts are payable in full and in one payment only at the time of the order. All orders are payable in Canadian dollars for Canadian customers, and in American dollars for all other customers. Duty and local taxes for all shipments outside of Canada and the United States are the responsibility of the receiver.

"Les concepts Zone Inc." reserves the right to modify the retail price of its products at any time without prior notice.

Prices for products on the web site may differ from those in store.

6. Shipping

At the present time, delivery fees apply to deliveries in Canada only. Please contact Customer Service via e-mail for further information on deliveries outside Canada.

Furniture with specific-type and regular-type such as mirrors, glass tabletops, and glass furniture cannot be bought on-line. It is, however, possible to ship them only to the metropolitan areas of our 5 store locations. Please contact Customer Service by e-mail for further details.

Tracking your order

Once the order has been filled and shipped, you will receive an e-mail from Canada Post indicating the shipping status of your order including a tracking number, along with a link that you can click on to access the tracking web site. You can track your parcel at the following web site :

Delivery fees are not applicable on oversized items, such as large furniture pieces. Please contact Customer Service by e-mail for further details.

*These fees do not apply to oversized products. If your order consists of an oversized product, we will notify you before shipping. Here are a few examples of oversized products : furniture, lamps, carpets, etc.

Cancellations

An order may be cancelled by our automated system for the following reasons :

• Non-availability of a product
• Difficulty in processing personal information concerning payment
• Impossibility to deliver at a given address
• Duplication of a previous order

If any of these cases apply, we will advise you of the order cancellation reason as soon as possible.

Delivery procedures and services

Our shipping is handled by a transport company or by the postal service. We are, therefore, not responsible for delays, additional fees or typing errors due to false information emanating from the buyer.

Canada Post accelerated parcel service : Delivers to all large Canadian cities within 3 to 5 days and up to 10 days for rural areas. This service is also available for postal boxes, outlying areas as well as all commercial addresses such as a postal service. If no one is at the destination address to accept the package, a delivery notice will be left at the door with information on where and when your parcel can be picked up at the post office. Postal service outlets are easily accessible due to extended service in the morning, evening and on Saturdays; the package is kept for 15 days before being returned to ZONE. Please ensure that you have the necessary photo/identification papers when you pick up your parcel. This parcel is insured in its entirety and is easily traceable by using your tracking number that you would have received by e-mail from Canada post (www.canadapost.ca).

7. Payment

All orders from "Les concepts Zone Inc." web site may be paid either by credit card. We accept VISA, MASTERCARD and AMERICAN EXPRESS. The same applies to telephone orders.

8. Delivery

A full day is allotted to process orders for in-stock items at our warehouse. On average, one to three days are added for shipping. "Les concepts Zone Inc." will not, in any way, be held responsible for late delivery due to out-of-stock items or transportation problems.

9. Return of Merchandise

You may return a product bought on the ZONE web site at any time within 20 days of its receipt and in its original packaging. To proceed with the return of an item, please contact our Customer Service department at (514) 343-9555 or toll free at 1-877-845-3532. A product must be accompanied by the invoice. You will be notified of the address for returns by telephone. On receipt of a returned product, all amounts debited to your credit card will be credited as soon as possible on condition that the product is returned by the buyer, and received by ZONE in the same condition as it was shipped. Note that the item must be returned in its original packaging.

10. Guarantee

All "Les concepts Zone Inc." products sold are new and are guaranteed. A 1-year after-sale guarantee on manufacturing defects is applicable to all products for sale. This guarantee covers residential use under normal environmental conditions and respecting maintenance and recommendations for use of these products.

A 1-month after-sale guarantee is applicable on all products for commercial use.

11. Modification of Terms and Conditions

"Les concepts Zone Inc." reserves the right to update or modify the present Terms and Conditions at any time and without prior notice. Your continued use of our zonemaison.com web site signifies your acceptance of such revised Terms and Conditions, so we urge you to check back frequently to read the most recent version.

Modifications applied on the Zone web site, such as but not limited to Conditions of use, legal notice, will take precedence on past indications.
